The Iranian Textile Association of Science and Technology (ITAST) announces the official launch of the JOURNAL OF TEXTILES AND POLYMERS. The JOURNAL OF TEXTILES AND POLYMERS provides a scientific forum for exchange of ideas and research findings in the inter-disciplinary field of polymers, fi bers, and textile structures.
The Journal will be published twice a year in print and also in electronic form and will be open to receiving contributions focusing on scientific and technical subjects, including fundamental theoretical or experimental investigations, developments in production processes, machinery, treatment, dyeing, finishing, testing and use in relation to all aspects of textiles including fibers, yarns, fabrics, and technical textiles. Some suggested (but not limited) areas are:
• Fiber Science, Chemistry and Physics.
• Fiber-Forming Polymer Reaction and Synthesis.
• Fiber-Forming Polymer Blends.
• Textile Processing and Innovative Technologies.
• Melt, Wet and Dry Spinning.
• Nonwovens Science and Engineering.
• Nanofibers Production and Properties (including Electrospinning).
• Colorants and Physicochemical Aspects of Dyeing.
• Fiber-Forming Polymer Analysis and Characterization.
• Technical Textiles, Medical Textiles and Geo-Textiles.
• Textile Reinforcements and Composites.
• Fibrous Filters and Membranes.
• Biomaterials.
• Smart and Intelligent Textiles.
• Pollution and Waste Management.
• Functional Polymers.
• Textiles and Apparel Science and Technology.
The ITAST invites the prospective authors to submit their original and unpublished articles to the JOURNAL OF TEXTILES AND POLYMERS. All submission will be subject to peer review before being accepted for publication by specialized reviewers and double blind anonymity will be preserved throughout the evaluation process. Accepted articles will be published ahead of print.
